0226 - Royal Wedding

Notes on today's comic (18 Apr 2011):

It's true - I've been asked about five or six times if I'm going to England for the Royal Wedding! It's driving me up the flippin' wall, quite frankly... My response is, "If I was going to go to England, it'd be to see my family, not some stupid Royal Wedding!" (I used to be a Royalist, but stopped being one a long time ago.)

In fact, my former colleague Brooklyn was serving a guest at Target last Friday, who heard my accent and said to her, "Oh, I bet he's going to England for the wedding"... Poor Brooklyn was rather confused at first, because she didn't realise it was the Royal Wedding to which the woman was referring...

Monday 11 April 2011

Apologies for missing more than one comic, lately. I've pretty much run out of material for the comic - so for a little while, there are only going to be updates every Monday.

Monday 14 March 2011

Well, there would have been a strip on my 40th birthday - had I not changed the upload date to a Thursday!

I also realised that I'd messed up the notes for last Monday's strip - the title and the comic number were the same ones as the one before it! *cringe* I've hopefully fixed that now, though.

Thursday 24 February 2011

Changing to Thursday made one heck of a difference; I felt more relaxed about getting the comic done yesterday. I've still got to get changes made on websites which link to this one, so that there's a revised banner. Goodness knows when I'll get around to it.

Wednesday 9 February 2011

First of all, apologies for not putting out a comic on Monday - I had these sketches drawn, although it was way past the deadline for automatic uploading, but I just wasn't feeling up to continuing.

Second, I'm still getting to grips with the tablet PC's pen, so I hope you'll excuse any inconsistency with the drawing. I'm also drawing sketches much smaller than they need to be, which is causing problems later on. Of course, I'm not practicing anywhere near enough.

Last, but by no means least, a happy birthday to my mum, Sandra, who is 59 on Friday!
