0231 - Thrust Upon ThemNotes on today's comic (8 August 2011):OK, first up: The title, in case you've not figured it out (or if you think I'm being ruuude), comes from "Some people are born to lead; others have leadership thrust upon them". Once again, this is based on true events - a few weeks ago, I was participating in Capture the Record (the Minecraft variant of Capture the Flag), and I was pretty much railroaded into the Team Captain position - not that I wanted it, but I was too damn stunned to refuse... And quite a few people said I did well, under the rather trying circumstances. Still, I wouldn't do it again, even if you paid me... *shudder* News, Views and Just Plain Schmooze...Monday 8 August 2011OK, this hasn't been going as well as I'd hoped. I have to try to manage my free time better, though it's not easy when fighting near-constant depression. An additional complication of sorts is that I originally started drawing this comic, back in 2008, when I was lonely and bored. Since then, I've made a load of friends online, and we do a lot of stuff together - though even they get shut out sometimes when I'm feeling down. That said, I will try harder to update more frequently than once a bloody month... Monday 20 June 2011Hello, remember me? I'm supposed to draw comics here... I sincerely apologise. If you think a month without comics is bad, Chapter 11 of my non-comic book has been on hold for four. Sigh. Monday 9 May 2011Finally, comic! Sorry it's taken so long to come up with another one - I've been out of material for some time, and it's been frustrating. I don't have that much more, to be honest, though there are some ideas. I'm going to stick to Monday updates, though. Monday 11 April 2011Apologies for missing more than one comic, lately. I've pretty much run out of material for the comic - so for a little while, there are only going to be updates every Monday. |
