OK, back to work on proper strips! (Thank goodness...) I was quite surprised (and slightly ashamed) to realise that quite a number of strips had gone by without the presence of actual customers... June 29th was the last time, in fact! So I figured I'd better remedy that pretty sharpish! As for the sentiment expressed by "DigiMe", it's fairly true I'm afraid - I can actually lift 50 lbs (22.7 kg) from the floor (I've checked in the past), but it's pretty bloody difficult when you're trying to drag a heavy object sideways, across a gap, at waist level... like when you're moving items from the scanner to the counter! |
