0185 - Greg's First DayNotes on today's comic (29 Sep 2010):Although the real exchange didn't happen on Greg's first day, it really did happen! I was there, and as soon as he got off the walkie-talkie, I called out, "I'm turning you into a comic!". This was why I had to introduce him as a character in Monday's strip :) News, Views and Just Plain Schmooze...Monday 27 September 2010The evolution of the comic continues, no matter how small... It's amazing how much more alive the characters look when you add little white dots into the pupils of the eyes! Monday 30 August 2010WOOHOO! I thought it would never happen, but it has: I've now had readers from every state in the USA! Whoever in New Mexico paid a visit, thank you! Wednesday 25 August 2010Firstly, the country count advances a little farther: Costa Rica brings the number to 88. Welcome, Costa Rica! Second, I've decided to put in the numbers and titles of the comics into the notes sections, and I'm slowly advancing through the archives, correcting accordingly. This also means that I've got to add in some notes, because some days, I didn't make any comments. It's also a touch confusing, because in order to help me, I numbered and titled each comic as I drew them - but they weren't always put online in the same order in which they were drawn! I've not done that in a while, but returning to the earlier ones is making my head spin just a little! Anyway, I'll announce when I've got the updates completed :) Friday 13 August 2010It's Jenny Everywhere Day, where artists are encouraged to create their own version of Jenny Everywhere, possibly the world's first open-source, public-domain character. I found out about Jenny Everywhere quite by accident, and it fired me up into considerable enthusiasm :) You can find lots of Jennys, both in strips and cameos, here. |
