0193 - Orchestra HeroNotes on today's comic (1 Nov 2010):Another rejected "Hero" game for your perusal (the first was here). Of course, another problem with such a game would be in trying to get 20 game controllers hooked up to one console or computer (but the size of the box was much funnier, in my humble opinion)... Technical note: Although I looked for the images of the various instruments online (thanks to Google and Wikipedia), I did actually draw them myself... Purists will be able to spot imperfections (I know a couple with the trumpet, but I'm not going to draw attention to them!) I must admit, though, that I did cheat with the violin: I only drew half of it, and then copied, reflected and pasted. Still, you can't really do that with a trumpet, can you! I never realised before just how complicated those things are - mind you, I had planned to draw a French horn - aargh! You know, I had been considering doing a comic for Hallowe'en, for yesterday, but I can still only think of one costume... I'm not going to give that away, though, in case I've got around to thinking up some more by the time I get to Hallowe'en 2011! News, Views and Just Plain Schmooze...Monday 25 October 2010Two more countries - Guam and Chile - have joined my little list of countries that have visited Paper or Plastic?, bringing the total to a nice, round 90! Total view count is just short of 7,300 :) Monday 18 October 2010Hearty well-wishes to my good friend Katherine Gordon in England, who celebrates her birthday today... Many happy returns! *hugs* Monday 11 October 2010Happy Columbus Day / Discoverer's Day (Hawaii) / Native American Day (South Dakota and certain tribal communities in Oklahoma) / Indigenous People's Day (California: Berkeley, Sebastopol and Santa Cruz)! Phew... I have enough trouble keeping up with American holidays anyway, let alone local variations - Wikipedia is your friend... Monday 4 October 2010Paper or Plastic? has now had over 7,000 visits! Thanks to everyone who visited since December 2008 - and a special thanks to those who've been coming back! |
